The Fort Worth Business Press honored winners of the Most Innovative New Products 2000 contest at Texas Christian University with a breakfast and awards ceremony Tuesday, Oct. 10.
"Today’s winners are living examples of the entrepreneurial spirit," said David Minor, director of the James A. Ryffel Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at TCU. "We’re recognizing new ventures and new ideas that will prepare their ventures for the next level."
Minor offered the following tips for success: continue to innovate; remember that business is about relationships; and much of success has to do with attitude.
Winners of this year’s Most Innovative New Products are: Famecare Custom Bottling Company Inc. of Fort Worth for its Super Scents paint additive; Video-Aire International for its air duct cleaning system with a video camera on the brush head; Texas Pediatric Surgery Center of North Richland Hills for its outpatient surgery center for children; Markettrix.com of Fort Worth for its software that combines seven Internet search engine technologies into one product; and CompuSol Inc. of Fort Worth for its reMember software for chambers of commerce and nonprofits. Thermal Wing Ceiling and Wall Systems, formerly of Burleson, received an honorable mention.
